- Which is better - cloud-based or executable EPoS software?
- Cloud-based EPoS software offers the advantage of remote access and automatic updates, but falls down when you have a data outage or power cut to your router. Executable software, runs directly on your terminal.
- ICRTouch's TouchPoint software is an executable EPoS system that combines the reliability of local (execucable) software with the benefits of cloud connectivity through TouchOffice Web. If your network connection goes down the software will continue to operate as normal - and then sync up with the cloud once the connection is restored.
